“Alexandria proved to be another powerhouse in our conference,” commented Head Coach Joyce Monk. “We’re proud of our team as they fought hard to the finish every race with dignity and sportsmanship against a team with much depth.  Being our first meet, we expect to see growth and improvement throughout the season.”

Emilie Carlson got first in the 200 free (2:10.00) and 100 fly (1:06.02).   Chloe Schindler was right there with a 2nd place finish in the 100 fly (1:11.39). 

The 200 free relay earned 2nd place (1:51.21).  Members of that relay include Emilie Carlson, Chloe Schindler, Brinn Donais, and Emma Koeckeritz.  Tess Seay placed 1st in the JV heat of the 100 backstroke, swimming a career best time of 1:25.11. 

“Our future depth comes from our 7/8th grade team, some of whom swam tonight,” noted Monk.  “We will have 11 additional 7/8 graders starting on Tuesday, the first day of school.”
