The Fergus Falls boys’ cross country team finished third at the Central Minnesota River Run on Monday at the Vintage Golf Course in Staples. Staples-Motley won with 17 points, followed by Detroit Lakes (54), Fergus Falls (99), Park Rapids Area (124), Parkers Prairie (144), Ottertail Central (151), Long Prairie-Grey Eagle (211), Pine River-Backus (213), Bertha-Hewitt (226), Brandon-Evansville (227) and New York Mills (307).
Emmet Anderson (16:15.8) and Hunter Klimek (16:33.8) of Staples-Motley finished as individual champion and runner-up.
