In the boys varsity competition, Bemidji claimed first place with 40 points and the Yellowjackets were second with 43.  They were followed by Willmar (67), Moorhead (95), Frazee (173), Pequot Lakes (174), Wadena-Deer Creek (199), Bagley-Fosston (250), Parkers Prairie (255), Little Falls (263) and Pelican Rapids (275).

Brandon O’Hara of Perham won the individual title with a time of 15:58.1 and Gage Mostad of Bemidji was second at 16:36.2.  Bemidji runner Nicholas Youso (16:53.4) came in third and Bailey Evenson of Perham was fourth with a time of 16:59.2.

Rounding out the varsity scoring for Perham were Jakob McCleary (17:08.3) in seventh place, Tesfaye Young (17:19.1) in tenth place, and Owen Werner (17:49.8) in 21st place.  Other varsity runners, Chase Belka (17:52.9) and Carson Hespe (18:08.2) claimed 22nd place and 26th place, respectively.
