With eight returning letter winners the Parker Prairie volleyball team is looking to contend in both the Little Eight Conference and in Section 6A in 2019.

“I am excited to have eight returning letter winners,” exclaimed Panthers Head Coach Amy Revering.  “We spent a lot of time last year getting used to the pace of the game, our setter’s tempo, and the mental toughness aspect of varsity volleyball.  I hope all the experience will help us come out with confidence early in the season and set the pace for a strong season and playoff run.  We have a well-rounded front row, experienced setters, and lots of girls pushing each other for the back row defensive positions.”

Setters, Macy Jakubiec (SR) and Joan Haggenmiller (SR) both have experience to help them run a quick, smart offense.  Faith Alberts (JR) and Hali Moske (SR) are powerful attackers in the front row, along with Emily Benzinger (SR) and Olivia Long (SR).  Kieda Wagner (JR) joins Alberts in bringing a strong blocking presence to the net.  Outside hitter options include Izzy Noska (SR) and youngsters Grace Schroder (SO) and Cora Johnson (FR).  Megan Blake (JR) and Darian Booker (JR) round out the team as defensive specialists.

Coach Revering points to Brandon-Evansville and Underwood as the top teams in the Little Eight Conference, with the Chargers, Henning and Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley the teams to beat in the Sub-Section.
