Tim Pattrin begins his ninth year as head coach of the Brandon-Evansville football team with all but one player returning from the Chargers 4-5 team of a year ago.  Dan Johnson, Kellen Traphagen, Dan Olson, Art Vinson and Dan Wales will serve as assistants.

Chris Vinson was the only player lost to graduation.  Returning starters are seniors Tanner Bitzan (FB/LB), Keagan Schiele (QB/DB), Marshall Riedel (RB/DB), Andrew Johnson (OL/DL), Sam Fuller (OE/LB) and Tony Schaffran (WR/LB), and juniors Cade Carlson (JR) and Brandon Johnson (OL/DL).

Other players looking to make an impact at the varsity level are seniors Trent Landowski (OE/DL) and Andrew Perrin (OL/DL) and junior Mike Cochran (OL/DL).

“We have very high expectations for this team,” said Coach Pattrin.  “We return everyone but one player so we look to pick up where we left off last season and continue to improve.  We are very experienced and we have some depth at most positions.  We have to be more physical and be able to finish games stronger.”

Pattrin sees Verndale and Hancock as the teams to beat in the Pheasant Conference and in Section play.
