OTC opened the scoring in a big first inning with an RBI single from Wyatt Severson (2—3, RBI). Tyson Misegades (7IP, 10H, 3R, 3K, 1BB) was the winning pitcher.
“Tyson really threw well tonight and put us in a great position to win,” said OTC Head Coach Evan Meece. “After a big first inning the bats went a little cold, but that inning was enough to get us the victory.”
Carson McNeal (6IP, 4R, 5H, 7K) took the loss for Pelican Rapids. Carter Johnson and Esteban Garza each had multiple hits for Pelican Rapids.
OTC will head to Hawley on Monday before heading into the final week of the regular season.
