For the second straight day the Fergus Falls Hurricanes posted a 2-1 victory in the Mike Johnson Memorial Tournament at Chizek Field in Morris.  On Saturday the ‘Canes scored twice in the bottom of the seventh inning to pull out the walk-off win and land a spot in the championship game at 3:30pm Sunday against the Raymond Rockets.

Eric Salvesen was the winning pitcher, going two innings, striking out two, walking six, but allowing no hits and one earned run.

Morris scored in the top of the sixth to take a 1-0 lead.  Tyler Henrichs walked with the bases loaded to force in a run as the Eagles had four walks and a hit batter in the inning.

In the bottom of the seventh, Jake Anderson singled and Eric Salvesen doubled to put runners on second and third with no outs in the inning.  With the infield in, a ground ball to third resulted in the first out of the inning.  A strikeout put two outs on the board, but the stage was set for some heroics and Sean McGuire did not disappoint as he knocked in both runs with single to left field, ending the game in walk-off fashion.
