Errors became detrimental to the Otters on Thursday night in Detroit Lakes as the Lakers posted a 7-3 softball win over Fergus Falls.

Rylynn Krein pitched a gem of a game for the Otters, only allowing 5 hits and striking out 7.  A 3-run homer from Laura Prusser put the Lakers up by 3 in the fifth inning.  The Lakers would go on to add one more to the scoreboard in the bottom of the 6th.

The Otters took the lead early in the first on a wild pitch, allowing Ashlyn Eckhoff to score.  Later in the 4th, the Otters scored again on a hit by Laci Strom, scoring Nycole Mouritsen.  Mouritsen then drove in Amzie Aho in the fifth.

Aho, Eckhoff, Strom and Gretchen Davis all mustered hits for the Otters with Mouritsen leading the way with 2 hits.
