Perham golfer Allie King took medalist honors in the Heart O’ Lakes girls golf tournament held at Willow Creek Golf Course in Barnesville on Thursday, firing a round of 38. The Yellowjackets placed second with a team score of 181. Hawley/Ulen-Hitterdal won the event with a 178.
Rounding out the team scoring were Barnesville in third place with a 191, Pelican Rapids in fourth with a 213, DGF fifth with a 224, Frazee sixth with a 240 and Breckenridge seventh with a 252.
Sydney Cook of Hawley/Ulen-Hitterdal was individual runner-up with a 43. Mallory Belka of Perham was third with a 43, followed by Mia Tickel of Hawley Ulen-Hitterdal with a 44, Faith Justesen of Hawley-Ulen Hitterdal with a 45 and Callie Krause of Barnesville with a 45.
