Barnesville Boys Compete at 6A True Team Track and Field Meet

The Barnesville boys track and field team was one of fifteen teams competing at the Section 6A Track and Field Meet in Pelican Rapids on Tuesday.  Wadena-Deer Creek won the team title with 820.5 points with Osakis taking second with 790.5, Frazee third with 749 and Ottertail Central Fourth with 730.  Barnesville claimed eighth place, scoring 536 team points.

Jacob Morgan took fourth place in the 100 meter dash (12.00) for the Trojans and Austin Snobl took fifth in the 300 hurdles (45.30) and sixth in the 110 hurdles (17.63).  Damian Camperud was runner-up in the shot put (43-11.75) and finished fifth in the discus (106-09).

In the relay races, Barnesville won the 4x100 (47.09) and placed seventh in the 4x200 (1:41.76).
