Ottertail Central posted winning times in the 4x200 relay (1:51.41) and the 4x400 relay (4:16.21) on Tuesday in Pelican Rapids, finishing sixth in the team competition at the Section 6A True Team Girls Track and Field Meet. The host Vikings won the event with 787.5 points and Barnesville was second at 778. They were followed by Osakis (722.5), Frazee (704.5), Wadena-Deer Creek (644) and OTC (627.5). Fifteen teams participated in the event.
Ally Hart had a strong showing in the hurdles, claiming second in the 300 (51.06) and third in the 100 (17.90). Jorga Gabrielson was runner-up in the 800 (2:26.35) and fifth in the 1600 (5:42.02). Reese Richards came in fourth in the 3200 (12:48.07), Grace VanErp was fifth in the triple jump (31-11.50), and Brooke Hovland finished seventh in the 400 (1:03.79). The Bulldogs claimed fourth place in the 4x800 relay (11:04.51).
