Parkers Prairie jumped to an early lead on Friday and went on to defeat the Ashby softball team by a score of 12-2.

The Arrows struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time containing the Panthers who had ten hits on the day, led by multiple hit games from Abby Burquest and Kieda Wagner.

Reghan Deboer singled in the first inning and came around to score on a groundout off the bat of Chloe Thue.  The Panthers added three in the sixth inning with Macy Jakubiec driving in a run with a base hit.  Jakubiec (6IP, 9H, 2R, 4K, 0BB) was the winning pitcher.

Ashby had nine hits in the game with Elli Johnsrud, Josey Ness and Anna Thormodson contributing two hits each.  Parkers Prairie played errorless ball in the field.
