The Moorhead Spuds won the Craig Fredrickson Memorial Boys Track and Field Invitational on Thursday in Detroit Lakes, scoring 146 points.  DL was second with 137, followed by Frazee (80), Park Rapids Area (63), Thief River Falls (42.5), Fergus Falls (37) and BGMR/Freeze (13.5).

Robert Sewell led the Otters with a first place (21-03) in the long jump and a second place in the 200 meter dash (23.22), and Tyler Hansen (5-06.00) tied for second in the high jump.  Matthew Oehler finished third (2:08.83) in the 800 meter run, Hansen was eighth (35-11.00) in the triple jump, and Joe Eberle (55.71) was ninth in the 400 meter dash.

The Otters came in sixth (48.07) in the 4x100 relay, eighth in the 4x400 relay (3:49.58) and sixth (9:07.90) in the 4x800 relay.
