Sewell Leads Otter Boys at Brainerd Track and Field Triangular

Robert Sewell finished first in the long jump (20-10.00) and second in the 100 meter dash (11.75) to lead the Fergus Falls boys track and field team at the Brainerd Triangular on Tuesday.  Brainerd won the team competition with 117.5 points. Bemidji was second with 96.5 and the Otters took third with 32 points.

 

Tyler Hansen was a runner-up in the high jump (5-10.00) and came in fifth in the 400 meter dash (59.l4) and seventh in the triple jump (37-09).  Joe Eberle claimed third place in the 400 (55.56) and Matthew Oehler took fourth in the 1600 meter run (4:56.91).

Other top finishes came from Keisen Wick with a fifth place in the 200 (25.24), Zach Lobb with a fifth in the 3200 (14:21.24), Dominic Aguilar with a fifth place in the long jump (17-07.75), and Aaron Monson (49.56) with a fifth in the 300 meter hurdles.

 

In the relay events, the Otters were second in the 4 x 200 (1:48.23), third in the 4 x 100 (50.04) and third in the 4 x 800 (9:10.08).
