The Brandon-Evansville softball team defeated Hillcrest 11-7 on Tuesday in a Pheasant Conference matchup in Brandon.

Winning pitcher Mikenna Pattrin (3-0) allowed just one hit, walked four and struck out nine in four innings of work.  Korrie Randt (3IP, 4H, 5R, 3ER, 4BB, 5K) came on in relief to finish the game in the circle.

Offensive leaders for B-E were Kristen Kokett (3-5, 3R, RBI, HR), Bailey Schaefer (3-4, 4R), Pattrin (2-4, R, 2RBI), Alena Shores (3-4, 2B, 2RBI), Kerryn Lund (1-4, 2B, R, RBI), Randt (1-4, 2B) and Kaytlyn Pattrin (1-4, R).

“We hit the ball hard tonight and were able to move runners around effectively,” said Brandon-Evansville Head Coach Kasi Sieling.  “Mikenna and Korrie combined to give us solid innings.  Defensively, we have some things to clean up, but overall, this was a solid team win.”

Hillcrest was led by Amanda Dekok (2-4, 2R) and Juliana Undseth (1-2, R).  Deok struck out 8, walked 1, allowed 14 hits and 6 earned runs in six innings of work.
