The West Central Area lady Knights had a 4-0 week with a double header sweep of Benson on Wednesday and two more wins in a double header with Minnewaska Area on Thursday.  WCA beat Benson 4-2 and 11-1, and then defeated the Lakers 13-6 and 7-6 in eight innings.  “Overall, we as coaches, are more than delighted with how the girls performed in those four games,” said Head Coach Vanessa McNamara of the Knights.  “It was a lot of softball in a 24-hour period, but so many personal bests were achieved.  7 home runs in 24 hours is fun for them and fun for us.”
