Little Eight Basketball Showcase: A Joy-Filled Finish

The Little Eight Basketball Showcase delivered a display of talent and joy as teams clashed in a battle for bragging rights. Little Eight Light, guided by coaches Trent Hintermeister of Brandon-Evansville and Kellen Shebeck of Underwood, faced off against Little Eight Dark, led by Ryan Garvin and Andrew Stender from Hillcrest Lutheran Academy.

 

 

Little Eight Conference Senior Showcase Set for Sunday, April 14

The Little 8 Conference is proud to announce its Senior Showcase event, set to take place on Sunday, April 14th, at 4:30 PM at the Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Activities Center. The event will highlight the talents of senior athletes from various schools within the conference, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their basketball skills one last time before graduating.

The Little 8 Senior Showcase is free to the public and will feature an exciting lineup of activities, including a showcase game for senior boys at 4:30 PM and a three-point contest.

 

Chargers Advance in 6A Boys Tournament with 50-42 Win Over Ashby

Brandon-Evansville turned in a solid inside game on Thursday night as they defeated the Ashby Arrows 50-42 in Section 6A boys’ basketball action in Evansville.  B-E shot just 33.3% (19-57), but held Ashby to only 27% (15-55) shooting on the night.  The Chargers led 25-16 at the half and held on for the 8 point victory, advancing to a quarterfinal round matchup with Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa.
