Vincent Nash, a 2025 graduate of Hillcrest Lutheran Academy has signed to be part of the UW-River Falls Track and Field team.  He will compete in the high jump and decathlon.  His senior year at Hillcrest was his first year in the sport and it was a memorable one as he finished 8th in the Class A State High Jump.  “This is a great accomplishment in that Hillcrest does not have any high jump equipment,” said his high school coach, Allen Aase.

The Class A Boys and Girls Track and Field Meet got underway on Tuesday at St. Michael-Albertville High School with finals in several field events and preliminary races in the running events.  Finals in Class A will be held on Wednesday afternoon, beginning at 3:30pm.  The Class AAA meet also held their first session on Tuesday, while Class AA begins on Wednesday.  Here are the results for area athletes from day one of the Class A meet.
