The Fergus Falls Track and Field Teams capped off their outstanding 2025 season with several top performances at the Class AA State Meet on Wednesday and Thursday at St. Michael-Albertville High School.  The teams are coached by Niki Welde (Girls) and Derek Meyer (Boys) with assistance from Denny Hystead, Ike Carlson and Shawn Papon.

The Fergus Falls boys’ track and field team held their awards night on Sunday.  The event celebrated the season and the athletes as the team prepares to send six athletes to the MSHSL State Track and Field meet at St. Michael Albertville June 10-12.  State participants include Jaden Miller in the 800, Andrew Muchow in the pole vault, Darius Lockett in the triple jump and long jump, and the 4x800 meter relay team of Miller, Michael Schmidt, Logan Bredenberg and Tommy Erickson.
