The Ottertail Central softball squad started the season with a couple of hard earned wins on Thursday in Verndale.  The Bulldogs swept their double header by winning 19-6 and 16-13.

“The young squad did a nice job being selective at the plate, and were able to string together some timely hits,” stated head coach Heather Akerman.  “The loss of Ezrah Baker (CF), Liz Lukken (LF), Dealia Grabe (RF), Brooklyn Christianson (C), and Lily Connor (3B) was a huge hit for the Bulldogs, but the young athletes that filled their spots are hard workers and very competitive.”
