Fergus Falls won their amateur baseball opener on Saturday, handing the Henning North Stars a 5-3 loss at American Legion Field at DeLagoon Park.  The Canes collected 10 hits in the game and Carter Thielke (4IP, 7K, 1BB, 2H, 1R, 0ER) and Alex Hexum (2IP, 3K, 0BB, 0H, 0R) combined to hold Henning to just 4 hits in the game.  Thielke was the winning pitcher and Hexum earned the save.
