The Moorhead Mudcats erupted for 11 runs on 13 hits Sunday night at Reed Field in Barnesville as they went on to trounce the Fergus Falls Canes, 11-1. The Canes managed just 3 hits in the game and commited 4 errors. “When you have more errors than hits it’s not going to be a good day,” noted head coach Davy Johnson. “We also struck out 15 times as it was just not a good day at the ballpark. We will need to put this behind us and come out strong on Friday as we host the Detroit Lakes Ligers at 7:30pm.”
