Montana Carsten poured in 23 points as she reached the 1000 point milestone for her career on Thursday night in Verndale, leading the Wadena-Deer Creek girls’ basketball team to an 80-13 thrashing of the Pirates.  “Montana has put in tons of time, effort, and sacrifice to become the standout player she is,” commented WDC head coach Jordan Cresap. “A great achievement for an awesome teammate and leader!”
