Kaitlyn Rohloff of the Hancock Owls has been named the Little Eight Conference Girls Basketball MVP and Head Coach Hannah Clark of Hillcrest Lutheran Academy received the Little Eight Conference Girls Basketball Coach of the Year award.  Her Comets won the LEC title with a 17-1 record.

The Underwood girls’ basketball team came out strong on Tuesday night in Perham as they built a 37-21 halftime lead and went on to defeat Hillcrest Lutheran Academy, 56-41, claiming the North Sub-Section 6A championship.  The Rockets will now face West Central Area, a 74-71 overtime winner over Breckenridge to win the South Sub-Section title, on Friday at 6:00pm at Concordia College in Moorhead.
