The Henning boys’ basketball team handed out their 2024-25 Postseason Awards recently, recognizing a team that finished with a 29-4 record on the way to a Class A State Consolation championship.  Kale Misegades was named to the Class A State Tournament Team and became the Henning Boys Basketball All-Time Scoring Leader.   Senior Teigan Bjerke, the Park Region Conference MVP, reached the 1,000 point club during the season.

The Henning Hornets have a chance to win some hardware on Saturday morning.  Their 61-59 victory over BOLD on Friday afternoon moved them into the Consolation Championship game in the Class A State Boys’ Basketball Tournament at 8:00am Saturday at the Gangelhoff Center on the campus of Concordia University in St. Paul.
