Hillcrest Lutheran Academy survived a thrilling 5-set match with Breckenridge on Tuesday night to claim the North Sub-Section 6A volleyball championship and advance to the 6A finals against West Central Area on Saturday at 7:00pm at the Kennedy Secondary School in Fergus Falls. The Comets fell behind 2 sets to none, losing 25-22 and 25-21 before battling back to force a fifth set with wins of 25-13 and 25-14 in sets 3 and 4.  The deciding set saw the Cowgirls serve set point twice without success before the Comets closed it out 17-15.
