The Fergus Falls Girls Swim and Dive team competed at the Section 8A Championship Meet in Morris November 7-9th. The Otters placed second overall in the section, with several girls earning a trip to the state meet. Estee VerSteeg qualified for state in the 50 and 100 freestyle, and Karlie Petersen qualified in the 100 breaststroke. The 400 freestyle relay of Ella Kwapinski, Alexis Wellman, Mayah Fear, and Estee VerSteeg will be competing at state, and the 200 freestyle relay of Alexis Wellman, Mayah Fear, Karlie Petersen, and Estee VerSteeg not only earned a trip to state, but also broke the school record.

The Otters will compete at the University of Minnesota on November 15-16.
