Border West hosted their home cross country invitational on Saturday, hosting Ashby/Brandon-Evansville.  The two teams had a competitive girls’ varsity race with the Bucs holding off the Bolts 27-29.  Border West did not have a complete team on the boys’ side, so ABE won the event with 16 points.  “Our home meet always has a fun atmosphere,” said Border West Head Coach Brittany Erickson.  “We take some time to honor our seniors and recognize our parents who help make the program a success. We had 27 Prek-6th graders compete in our Young Buc Run!”
