The Alexandria Cardinals claimed runner-up honors at the Minnesota Class AA Girls State Cross Country Meet on Saturday at St. Olaf College in Northfield, scoring 105 points.  Saint Paul Highland Park won the event with 79 points.  The Cardinals placed two runners in the top twenty with Citori Halbe (18:43.l1) taking ninth place and Jaelyn Miller (19:18.24) finishing 20th.
