“I am so proud of the way our girls performed and stepped up to challenges tonight,” said Head Coach Niki Welde of the Otters. “Ainsley Hansen won both the long jump and high jump with a PR in the long jump. She also stepped up to run on our 4x2 relay team. Ella Metcalf performed in true, True Team fashion with an excellent PR in the pole vault, Sarah Nordlund furthered her best in the triple jump and we again saw excellent PRs from our 200 sprinters Siiri Smestad and Aisling Cox. We welcomed Cassie Wellman in the 3200 and Violet Mcconn in the 800 tonight from our Middle School team. Both performed just as we were hoping.”
Perham's Lauryn Rustad broke the school's 100 meter hurdle record with a time of 16.31. The previous record of 16.69 was held by Becca Peloquin and was set in 2008.
