The Region 16C Amateur Baseball Tournament starts on Saturday July 31 and will continue the next 2 weekends ending with a Champion being crowned on Saturday August 14. Tournament is hosted by Urbank and Carlos. The Fergus Falls Hurricanes received a 1st Round Bye and will start with a game against the winner of Long Prairie/Osakis on Sunday, August 1 at 1:00pm in Carlos.

The Perham baseball team captured the Heart O’ Lakes Conference title with a 12-0 record.  The Yellowjackets boasted the Conference MVP in Chas Melvin and the Most Outstanding Pitcher in Finn Diggins.  Perham finished as Section 8AA runners-up to Wadena-Deer Creek.
