Fergus Falls senior Sean Edman ended his high school swimming career with an appearance at the Class A State Meet at the U of M on Saturday, competing in the 200 Freestyle.  Edman qualified by state time standard at the Section 5A meet at Morris last weekend with a time of 1:49.50.  His time of 1:52.86 on Saturday wasn’t enough to place him in the top sixteen, as he finished 19th.

“Sean went for it today,” said Fergus Falls Head Coach Randy Hansen.  “He swam the first half of his race faster than he did at sections last week but just didn't have enough in the tank to bring it home.  It was a great effort and an experience he will never forget.”
