Lady Spartans Announce Commitments for Volleyball and Basketball

Janice Hendrickson, head coach of the M State Women’s Basketball team has announced that Morgan Evavold, a senior at Underwood High School, has signed her letter of intent to play basketball for the lady Spartans. Morgan is the daughter of Scott Evavold and Tracy Evavold.

Little Eight Conference Girls Basketball All-Conference Team

Parkers Prairie won the Little Eight Conference girls basketball team championship and swept the top awards with Veronica Schwartz being named conference MVP and John Noga being chosen as LEC Coach of the Year.

Pheasant Conference All-Conference Girls Basketball Team Announced

The West Central Area girls basketball team won the Pheasant Conference title during the 2018-19 season with an 11-1 conference record, finishing one game ahead of Brandon-Evansville. Head Coach Eric Schoenbauer of the Knights earned Coach of the Year honors and freshman guard Lexi Bright of WCA was named the Pheasant Conference Most Valuable Player.
