Little Eight Conference Girls Basketball All-Conference Team

Parkers Prairie won the Little Eight Conference girls basketball team championship and swept the top awards with Veronica Schwartz being named conference MVP and John Noga being chosen as LEC Coach of the Year.

 

The West Central Area girls basketball team won the Pheasant Conference title during the 2018-19 season with an 11-1 conference record, finishing one game ahead of Brandon-Evansville.  Head Coach Eric Schoenbauer of the Knights earned Coach of the Year honors and freshman guard Lexi Bright of WCA was named the Pheasant Conference Most Valuable Player.

The Pelican Rapids Vikings improved their record to 25-1 on Thursday night with an 87-49 victory over the Rothsay Tigers in the first round of the Section 6A girls’ basketball playoffs.  The Vikings held a 60-25 lead at the half and placed five players in double digits in the game.
