Little Eight Conference Boys Basketball All-Conference Team

Parkers Prairie won the Little Eight Conference boys basketball team championship this winter and their coach, Mike Felt, shared the Conference Coach of the Year honors with Gregg Preston of Hillcrest Lutheran Academy, who has announced his retirement as head coach of the Comets.  Senior Travis Yohnke of the Panthers was named the LEC Most Valuable Player.

Park Christian Boys Eliminate Rothsay in 6A Contest

The Rothsay Tigers boys’ basketball team travelled to Moorhead to take on Park Christian in a Section 6A play in game on Monday night.  Rothsay held a slim 25-22 lead going into the half, however, a comeback by Park Christian resulted in a 54-51 Rothsay defeat.

Rothsay Boys End Regular Season with Home Court Loss

The Rothsay boys basketball team ended their regular season at home as they lost to Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal by a score of 71-42.  NCE/U-H jumped out to a big 30-8 halftime led on the way to the victory.
