Little Eight Conference Boys Basketball All-Conference Team

Parkers Prairie won the Little Eight Conference boys basketball team championship this winter and their coach, Mike Felt, shared the Conference Coach of the Year honors with Gregg Preston of Hillcrest Lutheran Academy, who has announced his retirement as head coach of the Comets.  Senior Travis Yohnke of the Panthers was named the LEC Most Valuable Player.

Hornets Hold Off Comets for Thrilling 54-52 Win

The top-seeded team in the North half of Section 6A, the Henning Hornets, survived a scare from fifth-seeded Hillcrest Lutheran Academy on Monday night as they overcame a 28-24 halftime deficit to record a 54-52 victory over the Comets at ‘The Hive’ in Perham.

As of noon today(latest forecast) most of our region is in a winter storm warning starting

tomorrow and going all day Saturday. 5-8 inches of snow predicted for most of our schools.

The committee Chair and vice chair along with the region Secretary have postponed the games for

Saturday Mar 9. Safety is our first concern for all teams and fans. 


All boys games on Saturday Mar 9 have been postponed until Monday Mar 11.


These games include

5A boys Basketball at Pequot Lakes and Foley.

6A games at Concordia and Morris also postponed until Monday Mar 11

8AA games scheduled at Concordia postponed until Monday Mar 11.
