Little Eight Conference Boys Basketball All-Conference Team

Parkers Prairie won the Little Eight Conference boys basketball team championship this winter and their coach, Mike Felt, shared the Conference Coach of the Year honors with Gregg Preston of Hillcrest Lutheran Academy, who has announced his retirement as head coach of the Comets. Senior Travis Yohnke of the Panthers was named the LEC Most Valuable Player.

Season Ends for Battle Lake Boys

The Battle Lake boys’ basketball team traveled to Ortonville on Thursday night and saw their season come to the end with a 74-44 loss to the Trojans in a Section 6A first round playoff game.

Battle Lake Boys Win Home Playoff Game

The Battle Lake boys’ basketball team opened the post season with a 79-42 home court win over Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley on Monday night in a Section 6A pigtail play in game.
