In the second half Bison defense came out trying to take away Lockett which allowed Ava Uhrich and Emma Stans some opportunities to score down low and keep the Otters in the lead. Leading the Otters in scoring was Braeger 14 and Lockett 11.

Fergus Falls 45, Forest Lake 21
In the Semi-Final game the Otters came out ready to go and exploded out of the gates with a 12 -3 run led by Cyntreya Lockett and Jenna Calrson. The Otters defense made it hard for Forest Lake to run their offense and caused multiple turnovers because of Kylie Nelson and Alyson Bygd defense. This allowed the Otters an opportunity to get out and run offensively and get some transition baskets from Leila Nasri and a 24 to 8 Otter lead.

In the second half the Otters looked to get the ball inside to Ava Uhrich and Cyntreya Lockett, who both scored multiple times. Defensively the Otters continued to make Forest Lake take difficult shots and were one and done because of  Lydia Kunz and Emma Stans rebounding effort for the Otters. The game was a physical game, as the Otters were put on the line 25 times and made enough free throws to cruise to a 45 to 21 win. Leading the Otters in scoring was Lockett 17, Carlson 7, and Uhrich 7.

Fergus Falls 35, Albany 32
The Championship game was a game of runs with no team leading by more than 8 points throughout the entire game. Otters came out aggressive and went inside out with Lockett, Braeger, and Keller which helped the Otters take an early 10 to 2 lead. Both teams in the first half looking to gain control of the game, but neither team had an answer. The Otters continued to battle with great defensive play and rebounding from Nelson, Nasri, Stans, and Kunz, but the Otters found themselves down by 1 point at half time.

The entire game was a physical game with the second half intensity going up as the game went on. The Otters defense continued to work hard and looked to keep Albany height advantage off the boards throughout the second half. Otters offense was propelled by inside game of Uhrich, who made some hard fought baskets that allowed the outside guards of Braeger and Carlson to drive and score to keep the game in reach down the stretch. The Otters had one more run in them, Braeger came down the court and made a 3 pointer to help the Otters cut Albany’s lead in half. The Otters defense once again came up big with some timely steals from Lockett and Keller that led into some transitioned scores for Carlson. With less than a minute to play the Otters clung to a 1 point lead. The Otters made another couple defensive stops and Braeger made 1 out of 2 free throws to put the Otters up by 3 with 10 seconds left. The Otters needed to get one more stop and were able to make Albany take a contested 3 that allowed the Otters to escape with a 35 to 32 win.
