“I was very happy with how well we defended their shooters tonight,” said Underwood Head Coach Brian Hovland.  “We struggled a little bit rebounding in the first half but in the second half we cleaned that up as Ally Johnson, Ceri Meech and Morgan Evavold did an excellent job of rebounding the ball in the second half.”

Brooke Hovland scored a team high 15 points and had 7 boards.  Evavold recorded a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds, and Kayla Rocholl contributed 11 points and 4 rebounds.

Underwood (20-5) will now face West Central Area at 2:45pm Saturday at UM-Morris in the 6A quarterfinals.
