The Ashby Arrows Boys Basketball Team defeated the Clintn-Graceville-Beardsley Wolverines 72-41 on Tuesday night in Graceville.  The Arrows led 33-22 at halftime behind six 3 point baskets combined from Scott Johnson and Christian Norby.  Ashby stretched the lead to 20 midway through the second half.

Scoring for the Arrows were Scott Johnson (21), Jaden Norby (20), Christian Norby (17), Dakota Ecker (5), Carter Spangler (3), and 2 a piece from Hunter Norby, Ashton Ecker, and Noah Johnson.  Christian and Jaden each grabbed 10 rebounds and both came close to a triple double with 8 and 7 assists, respectively.

Sam Adelman led the Wolverines with 16 points.

“CGB dictated the pace of play in the first half,” reported Ashby Head Coach John Holsten.  “We were able to string together good possessions at both ends of the floor in the second half to pull away.  CGB has really improved during the course of the season.”

Ashby (16-6) concludes the regular season Thursday night with a home game against the current top seed Ortonville Trojans.
