“The guys really went out and played hard tonight on both ends of the court,” commented Underwood Head Coach Evan Meece.  “We gave up a few too many second chance opportunities and that ended up being the biggest difference in the end result.  West Central Area made some key shots when they needed them most and ended up on top. As we celebrated our two seniors tonight, playing in their final home game, Daxton and Nick really showed what they mean to this team by leaving everything they had out there.  I couldn’t be prouder of their work ethic and leadership. We now head into the postseason with a lot of things working well.”

West Central Area (14-8) will end their regular season at Parkers Prairie on Friday night.

Underwood (3-21) finished their regular season schedule on Tuesday night and will await the outcome of the Section 6A seeding on Saturday for their opening round tournament assignment.
