Lill Class A Coach of the Year, Rausch and Sheridan All-State

Fergus Falls girls hockey coach Tim Lill has been named the Minnesota Class A Girls Hockey Coach of the Year.  Lill led the Otters to a record of 23-7, the Section 6A championship and the State Class A Consolation title this season.  His two senior captains, Sophie Rausch and Hallie Sheridan, were named to the Class A All-State team.

Rausch and Sheridan both played 134 games in their high school hockey careers.  

 

Rausch finishes as the all-time scoring leader for Fergus Falls girls hockey with 142 goal, 99 assists and 241 points.  She had 80 points (42 goals, 38 assists) this season and is headed to Hamline University next fall where she will play hockey for former Gopher and Olympian Natalie Darwitz, who was recently inducted into the US Hockey Hall of Fame.

 

Sheridan wound up with 110 career points on 44 goals and 66 assists.  This season she had 10 goals and 22 assists for 32 points. Sheridan also made the All-State Tournament team.
