“We honored five great seniors and the team played great,” said Battle Lake Head Coach David Marso.  “Our defense was really consistent all night and we got five players in double figures.”

Allison Marso led Battle Lake with 17 points and Halie Johnson added 13.  Also in double digits were Grace VanErp, Hannah Scherr and Lexi Newark.

The Bears were led by Mikayla Hinzmann with 14 points.

Battle Lake (6-18) will open Section 6A play on Monday night with seeding results to be determined on Saturday.
