The Rothsay boys basketball team hosted the Lake Park-Audubon Raiders on Thursday night and held a 24-22 halftime lead.  LPA ended up outscoring the Tigers 27-20 down the stretch for the 49-44 victory.

“We hit some big shots early in the game and played well at times,” commented Rothsay Head Coach Taylor Fuhs.  “I thought defensively we played hard.  We needed to execute better down the stretch on the offensive side of the ball.”

Rothsay was led by Colby Larson with 16 points and 4 assists.  Cole Weets contributed 9 points and Tanner Tollerud had 8.

Rothsay (5-18) will travel to Fergus Falls on Friday night for a Little Eight Conference matchup with the Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets.
