“We played a really solid first half, shooting and defending well,” said Underwood Head Coach Evan Meece. “In the second half, our shots got a little cold and NCE/UH started getting hot from the field. A lot of things went well tonight, so we need to be able to build off those things going into the rest of the season.”
NCE/UH placed four players in double figures, led by Broden Lien with 20 points. Noah Klemetson and Kale McCollum finished with 13 and 12 points, respectively, while Morgan Stueness added 11.
Leaders for Underwood were Canaan Kugler with 13 points and Krosby Aasness with 7. Daxton Olson and Braden Thorson added six points each.
Underwood will host Ashby in their next game on Friday night.
