Fergus Falls Maroon swept all three of their final regular season matches in Perham on Sunday, clinching the regular season championship in the Central NW conference.

FF Maroon defeated St Cloud Area, 5-0, in match one, with Kaitlyn Krensing(94%) and Morgan Christenson (87%) leading the team in fill percentage. Match two, against Brainerd, came down to a deciding fifth game, with FF Maroon coming through with a 3-2 win. Morgan West (87%), Kacey Fredrickson (85%), Krensing (85%), Christenson (80%) and Atlanta Goulet (75%) led the team effort in the victory. It was West (80%), Krensing (78%), and Alayna Price (75%) leading the way in a 4-1 win over second place Detroit Lakes in the final match to clinch the regular season title.

FF Gold dropped their first match to Brainerd, 0-4-1, with Sara Johnson (63%), Mackinzie Brist (63%), Amelia Eide (60%), and Kaydence Knutson (60%) leading the team. FF Gold swept Perham in match two, 5-0, with Knutson (75%) and Johnson (60%) team-high. FF Gold closed out the regular season with a 0-5 loss to St Cloud Area. Eide led the team at 70% for the match.

The Otters will head back to Perham on Sunday, February 17, for the Central NW conference tournament. The winner of the tournament earns a spot at the GMHSB State Tournament, held in Rochester on Saturday, March 2.
