"We played solid defense when we got them into a half court set, but poor transition defense and multiple turnovers led to a lot of quick, easy points for Lake Park-Audubon," commented Hillcrest Head Coach Hannah Clark.  "Mackenzie Foss (14 points, 4 steals, 3 rebounds) played a nice all around game for us, providing a spark on both ends of the floor."

Regan Wiertzema (6 points, 4 rebounds) and Olivia Foss (4 blocks, 4 assists) also contributed for the Comets.

Hillcrest will host Henning on Thursday and play at Rothsay on Friday night.
