Leaders for the Chargers were Keagan Schiele and Tanner Bitzan with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Marshall Riedel finished with 8 points.
Underwood was led by Nick Seiple with 6 points and Canaan Kugler with five.
“We couldn’t get anything going in the first half and were too flat defensively,” said Underwood Head Coach Evan Meece. “Our shots weren’t falling and that allowed Brandon-Evansville to take a lead going into halftime. We came out and played a lot better on both ends of the court in the second half. We are looking to build off the second half going into the rest of the games this week.”
Underwood will play at Battle Lake on Thursday and at Parkers Prairie on Friday.
Brandon-Evansville has home games against Rothsay on Thursday and Ashby on Friday.
