Three Hancock girls were in double figures, led by Alexis Staples with 15 points.  Lindsey Matson and Carlee Hanson contributed 13 points each.

Makenna Tysdal led Battle Lake with 10 points.  Grace VanErp and Allison Marso added 9 points apiece.

"We had a pretty good first half, defensively, but we struggled to put the ball in the basket," stated Battle Lake Head Coach David Marso.  "Unfortunately, in the second half the Owls widened the gap and posted a 16 point win."

Battle Lake (4-17) will play at Frazee on Thursday night.
