Yellowjackets Feature Balanced Scoring in Win Over Esko

The Perham boys basketball team placed four players in double figures on Friday night as they won their seventeenth straight game, beating Esko 62-52 in Perham.

 

Jensen Beachy was the scoring leader for the Yellowjackets with 16 points.  He also had 4 assists and 4 steals.  Charlie Rasmussen had 13 points and 3 assists.  Josh Jeziorski and Finn Diggins contributed 11 points each.  Diggins had a team high 8 rebounds and had 3 steals.

Perham shot 57.5% (23-40) from the field, 45.5% (5-11) on 3-pointers and 58% (11-19) from the line.  Esko made 55% (22-40) of their shots from the floor.  They were led by Trevor Spindler with 18 points and Peyton Wefel with 17.

Perham (18-1) will play Holy Family Catholic at 4:15pm Saturday in the Winter Classic at Alexandria.
